How a telephone reading works
This article examines the differences between a face-to-face reading and a telephone session. First of all a telephone or WhatsApp appointment can be a sensible alternative when you want to schedule a psychic or mediumistic reading but I may have no plans to visit your area or you live a long distance from me. Since moving to rural Northamptonshire I purposely decided to offer my work primarily as a telephone appointment, then when Covid came along most psychics and mediums restructured their services to work in this way.
A phone reading is now a popular if not the most common option. I can be anywhere in the UK or even abroad, as long as I have my phone connection you will have the same length of reading with the same depth of evidence you would receive at my home with none of the stress of finding my address, worrying about public transport connections or fuel costs. You can relax in your home with a coffee or tea and I do the same in my office and it’s as easy as that.
I have recently added WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger to the available options, as this is the same as a phone call but through your computer or an App, and it is free worldwide.
How it works
In a normal face-to-face private reading your aura/energy field (the electromagnetic field that surrounds you), gives me all the information I need to understand about your life and circumstances, even information from the distant past and moving forward into the future. My spirit guides help me interpret this information, and we can go as far back into your life as necessary, examine any aspect of your current life or look into the future to see your probable outcomes. A typical 1-hour reading consists of recent past, present and future and the spirit world joining in to convey their love and support.
However, unless there is a real need from both sides for an evidential sitting most clients come to a psychic or medium when something in their life needs assessing, not necessarily to communicate with a departed loved one. Nevertheless, I ask clients to be open to communication from the Spirit. The reading often also includes guidance from the tarot cards, which act as a window into the Other World and the subtle energies contained there.
A Telephone Reading
To start with, in a phone session we cannot see each other and I cannot make any unconscious judgments about you, your lifestyle or background from your clothes, jewellery, what I can see of your home or the car you arrive in. I have absolutely nothing to go on apart from your voice vibration. This for me makes a phone reading incredibly accurate. The same energy patterns and information in the aura are also in the subtle vibrations of your voice. So as long as you keep saying yes or no the connection will be maintained. The spirit world will still give their comfort and guidance.
